News Alert: Stephen Strasburg likely headed to 15-day disabled list

Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg likely will be placed on the disabled list.

Strasburg, who strained the flexor tendon in his right forearm in his start Saturday in Philadelphia, likely will go on the 15-day disabled list, Nationals manager Jim Riggleman said.
