1. McNabb is not as far past his prime.
2. The Redskins now have a GM, HC & QB with Super Bowl experience.
3. The Redskins only gave up a 2nd and 3rd/4th round pick.
4. McNabb is a leader with a solid off-field resume.
5. Playing the Eagles twice a year will be better motivation than any contract extension.
